Choose solar panels that not only accelerate the energy transition, but also make it truly sustainable. Solarge panels are 100% circular, manufactured locally in the Netherlands and specifically designed for high-quality reuse.
At Solarge, we have reinvented solar energy by saying goodbye to heavy, traditional materials such as glass and aluminium. Our innovative CircuLayer™ technology ensures that the different layers of the panel can be easily separated at the end of their life cycle by a simple heating step. This is ‘Design for Circularity’ in its purest form: built for the future with zero waste.
Unlike conventional solar panels, after their lifetime Solarge panels are processed into pure, high-quality raw materials ready for new production. We separate the panel into two clean cycles: the polymer current and the silicon current (solar cells), ensuring maximum efficiency. Moreover, with our take-back guarantee, we guarantee to take back the panels ourselves at the end of their lifetime.
Solarge develops and manufactures fully circular solar panels with a demonstrably low carbon footprint. With emissions of only 392 kg CO₂-eq./kWp, we realise up to 60% less CO₂ emissions in production compared to conventional modules. As our panels consist mainly of lightweight polymers (69%) and glass fibres (19%), they weigh only 5.5 kg/m². Making solar energy possible for virtually any roof, even those with limited load-bearing capacity.
100% CircularFully recyclable for a sustainable future. Design ensures high-quality reuse without downcycling.
Free of PFAS100% safe for humans and the environment. Built without toxic, carcinogenic substances or difficult-to-recycle ‘forever chemicals’.
Take-back guaranteeWe bear responsibility. After their lifetime, Solarge guarantees that the panels will be taken back for full recycling.
Pioneering low footprint of 390 kg CO₂-eq./kWp: up to 80% lower than industry standard.
Dutch productEthically produced locally in Weert. This ensures European quality, a clean supply chain and reliability.
Our hard evidence of sustainability. The SOLO solar panel is certified to the rigorous Cradle to Cradle Certified® Product Standard Version 4.1 (silver). This certification verifies that our product meets the strictest international sustainability standards across the entire life cycle. It is our promise for endless energy and a liveable earth.
Transparency to the core. Each panel is equipped with an integrated Digital Product Passport (DPP) to ensure 100% material transparency and smooth end-of-life recycling.

Many conventional solar panels have a downside: they rely heavily on harmful substances such as PFAS (‘forever chemicals’) and antimony. When these standard panels are ground up at the end of their useful life during recycling, these toxins leak directly into our soil and groundwater. The Solarge solution puts an end to this once and for all. Our panels are ‘safe by design’ and guaranteed 100% PFAS- and antimony-free. Thus, we avoid toxic waste streams and protect the environment.
Maximum performance, zero waste. The SOLO solar panel offers long-term security, backed by a 16-year product warranty and a 25-year power warranty. Our commitment to circularity means linking today's premium power with the guarantee that precious raw materials are reused at the end of the cycle in high quality.

How are materials separated without loss of quality?
Using our patented CircuLayer™ technology, we can easily separate the panel layers from each other using a specific heating step. This results in two pure material streams (polymers and solar cells) that serve directly as high-quality raw materials for the production of new solar modules without downcycling.
Why is PFAS- and antimony-free so important for circularity?
Standard solar glass contains about 40 grams of antimony per module, and traditional manufacturing processes rely heavily on PFAS (‘forever chemicals’). This leads to dangerous, carcinogenic pollution when the panels are discarded. Our polymer panels are 100% free of these toxic substances, which means that the materials can be processed and reused completely safely at the end of the line.
How are CO₂ emissions reduced at Solarge?
We do this in two ways. First, we have replaced heavy materials such as glass and aluminium with specially developed, lightweight polymers. Secondly, we produce locally in the Netherlands. This ensures a clean, short supply chain and saves significantly on transport emissions compared to panels from Asia. With this combination, our carbon footprint is only 390 kg CO₂-eq./kWp , which is up to 60% lower than conventional panels.
What does the Cradle to Cradle certification prove about the panel?
The SOLO solar panel is certified according to the Cradle to Cradle Certified® Product Standard (version 4.1, Bronze). This independent certification verifies that the product meets rigorous sustainability standards. It confirms our best-in-class 100% circular design , the use of 100% safe materials , and the fact that we can successfully recover 100% of the critical post-life materials.
What happens to the solar panel at the end of its life?
At the end of the service life, we guarantee to take back the solar modules. Using our CircuLayer™ technology, the panel layers are separated from each other via a simple heating step. This results in two clean, closed loops: a polymer stream and a silicon stream for the cells.
