From roof to production: Circular energy in action

584 lightweight solar panels were installed on the roof of the Solarge factory in Weert and are now powering the production of new Solarge panels. Thanks to their low weight and circular design, the panels were the perfect solution for the plant's weak roof.

With 584 lightweight solar panels on its own factory roof, Solarge shows how circular energy really drives the future.

Lightweight as a decisive solution

Many industrial roofs are not suitable for traditional glass solar panels due to their weight. The factory roof in Weert was no exception. Thanks to the lightweight design of Solarge panels, the roof could still be used for solar energy, without compromising on safety, durability or performance.

Coming full circle with your own energy

The solar energy generated is used directly to produce new Solarge panels. In doing so, Solarge creates a powerful example of circular energy in practice: circular solar panels produced with renewable energy from its own roof.
