Solar energy as lifeline for healthcare in Mykolaiv

230 Solarge solar panels were installed for the Mykolaiv Regional Phthisiopulmonary Medical Center in Ukraine as part of the Lifeline Ukraine project. It is precisely in times of crisis that a stable energy supply is vital for medical institutions. Due to the ongoing geopolitical situation, the medical centre in Mykolaiv is vulnerable to power cuts and damage to the central power grid. The installation of Solarge solar panels will provide the hospital with an autonomous and reliable energy source. This ensures that critical medical equipment and essential healthcare facilities remain operational, regardless of external circumstances.

An efficient ground-based setup with maximum impact.

For this ground-mounted project, a conscious decision was made to use Solarge’s lightweight and circular solar panels. Their low weight offered a crucial advantage during transport to Ukraine and enabled rapid, safe installation on the ground without the need for heavy lifting equipment. In addition, the solar park contributes directly to the circular economy: the panels contain no PFAS, are fully recyclable and have a significantly lower carbon footprint than conventional alternatives.
