In this project, installer Sungevity installed 5 SOLO solar panels on a residential property. It marked the moment that the 2 millionth house in the Netherlands was equipped with solar panels.

In a groundbreaking moment, attended by Minister Rob Jetten, the 2 millionth home in the Netherlands has been equipped with solar panels. The realization of this solar panel installation was made possible by Sungevity, utilizing solar panels from Solarge. This pilot project from December 2022 marks a milestone as the first in the Netherlands with 100 percent circular solar panels on a residential property.
By the end of 2024, we will launch our solar panels specially designed for residential homes onto the market.
